At approximately 2:20 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 3500 block of Chesterfield Avenue for a report of a cutting. Upon officers arrival, they located a 37 year-old female and a 18 year-old male, both suffering from stab wounds to the body. Both victims were transported to area hospitals where the 37 year-old female victim later died.

Police say the call came out for a robbery and a man lit on fire at 6:24 AM on the 2600 block of McElderry. Police say it was a 59-year-old male victim.
