Officers responded to the 1800 block of East Belvedere Avenue to investigate an armed carjacking. Officers arrived at the location and spoke to the victim, who stated that two unidentified males carjacked her at gunpoint. The victim’s “On-Star” helped track the vehicle. Foxtrot responded and located the vehicle, at which time the suspect bailed out of the vehicle at the intersection of Barclay and East 29th Street. The 15-year-old driver of the vehicle was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit by Northeast DAT detectives. The second suspect fled the scene on foot. The suspect was transported to the Juvenile Booking facility for processing.
