Police shot and killed the suspect (no name yet). What lead up to the shooting is still unclear. Body camera was on though, according to Frederick County Sheriff's Office. Police believe he stabbed his mother and father minutes before.

At approx. 2:12 a.m., FCSO deputies responded to the 5800 block of Haller Place for a call of service of a stabbing. EMS personnel located 2 victims and started life-saving measures. 3 additional responding deputies encountered an armed suspect & discharged their firearms

1 year agoLarge amount of emergency resources on scene. The incident happened around 6:15 p.m. in the area of Rothbury Drive and Goshen Road in the Montgomery Village are of Gaithersburg.
We have confirmed that a private plane came into contact with Pepco's transmission lines in Montgomery County, resulting in an outage to approximately 85,000 customers. We are assessing damage and working closely with Montgomery County fire and emergency services
